Trade partners

Your craft. A child’s room.

Sunshine on a Ranney Day builds bedrooms and bathrooms for children with disabilities across greater Atlanta. Trade partners do the work: plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, suppliers and more. Here’s how working with us goes, and where you sign in.

What you’ll build

Every project is designed around one child and their family.

Bedrooms

A room built for one child: the layout, lighting, storage and finishes their family chose with our designers.

The reveal

Every room ends with the child walking in for the first time, often streamed live. Partners on the job are credited on the child’s page on our site.

How a job runs

Four steps, the same on every project.

  1. We bring you in

Our project team shares the scope, the schedule and the site before any work starts.

  2. You do the work

On site with our contractor, from demolition to the finishes.

  3. Invoice as usual

Each invoice shows on your page as it moves: received, approved, paid.

What we keep on file

Three things, each checked the moment you add it, so you know right away if anything’s missing.

W-9

A W-9

Fill it in and sign it right on your page. About two minutes, no printer.

Insurance

Your insurance certificate

Upload it, or give us your agent’s email and we’ll ask them for it. It needs to show:

  • General liability: at least $1,000,000 each occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate
  • Workers’ compensation, with employer’s liability of at least $100,000 each accident
  • Policies in force today, with Sunshine on a Ranney Day as certificate holder
Payments

Your bank account

For direct deposit. It goes straight to our bank, and our website keeps only the last four digits.

Common questions

Is my information safe?

Your W-9 goes straight into our records, and your bank details go straight to our bank. Our website keeps only the last four digits of your account, and every change is noted.

How do I change my bank account?

Sign in and open Payments. For your safety, we call the number we already have on file to confirm a new account before a payment goes to it.

What happens when my insurance renews?

We email you before it ends, and your agent too if you’ve added one. Add the new certificate on your page and it’s checked right away.

Why do you need a W-9?

The IRS asks us to file a 1099 for the companies we pay, and the W-9 has what goes on it.

Who do I talk to?

Reply to any email from us, or write to info@soardcharity.com. A person on our team reads every one.
