- Apply A family tells us their story and walks us through the space on video.
- Select The committee reads every application, interviews, and visits the home.
- Design Designers draw three layouts. The family walks them at full scale and picks one, then the finishes.
- Mobilize We find a sponsor, order the materials, and line up the trades. Your gift helps pay for it.
- Build Contractor partners run the build, start to finish.
- Reveal The child walks in. Everything changes.

Yes. Sunshine on a Ranney Day is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 45-4773997). You'll receive a tax receipt from Zeffy immediately after donating. If you do not receive a receipt, please email us at info@soardcharity.com
02 Does 100% of my donation really go to kids?
Yes. Zeffy is a 100% free platform for nonprofits and charges zero processing fees. Your entire donation goes directly to funding room materials, labor, and design for children's spaces.
03 Can I set up a monthly recurring donation?
Absolutely. In the donation form above, simply toggle to "Monthly" before selecting your amount. Monthly gifts help us plan future room makeovers with greater confidence.

05 How much does a typical room makeover cost?
The cost of each makeover varies depending on the scope of the project. Dream bedrooms typically range from $10,000–$15,000, wheelchair-accessible bathrooms average $35,000–$40,000, and in-home therapy rooms generally range from $20,000–$30,000. Every dollar donated goes directly toward creating these life-changing spaces for the children and families we serve.
