Meet Dex, short for Declan. Dex is pure joy, with a big personality and playful spirit. He dreams of becoming a teacher and already practices in the mirror.
Dex was adopted at birth. His parents learned just weeks before he arrived that he had Down syndrome. Dex also has autism and is preparing for high school, a big milestone. As he grows, so does his need for independence. Having his own space is an important next step.
