The Story
Josue is 17 and has faced many challenges. He survived TB meningitis as a baby and has cerebral palsy, needing hospital-level care at home. Josue cannot sit up, does not speak, and uses a feeding tube. He spends most days in the same room due to his medical needs.
Josue’s mother, a caring single parent, supports him every day as his caregiver and comfort. She rarely leaves his side and sleeps in his room to help him whenever needed.
With the help of Artisan Design Studio and the generous support of our donors and community partners, including Lead Coverage, Sunshine on a Ranney Day is excited to provide Josue with a dream bedroom makeover to brighten his days and also create a calming environment for his mother at the end of the day. This project would not be possible without our supporters, whose kindness and contributions truly make a difference for families like Josue’s.
We cannot wait for them to see their room on Tuesday, May 15, at 5:00 p.m. Join us on Facebook Live for this special moment!
